Typography

One typeface does the work — Suisse Intl, with Suisse Int'l Mono for labels. Hierarchy comes from scale, tight negative tracking, and CASE, plus a restrained weight ladder. Never arbitrary bolding.

This site renders in the real Suisse Intl web kit (Domaine web license); Inter appears only as a last-resort fallback.

Always use real Suisse — Inter is a last resort

Inter is a graceful fallback for environments where Suisse genuinely can't load; it is never the intended face. Don't design for it, and don't ship it as a substitute. If you don't have Suisse installed, get the desktop fonts from the Downloads page (Fonts or the full Brand Kit).

The casing rules

  • Any UPPERCASE Suisse Intl (sans) run is SemiBold 600 — display & section titles, section/nav labels, table headers, stat labels, sans eyebrows. Never uppercase sans at Light/Regular/Medium.
  • Suisse Int'l Mono is always UPPERCASE — the eyebrow / metadata / pagination voice. Mono keeps its own weight.
  • Everything else is sentence case — body copy, buttons (Medium 500, never all-caps), form inputs, card & callout body, quotes. UPPERCASE is for titles and short labels, not interactive or running text.

Reaching for UPPERCASE and SemiBold everywhere is the fastest way to lose the Domaine feel — let scale, weight, and whitespace carry the hierarchy first.

Tracking

  • Display -0.02em · Heading -0.015em · Body 0
  • Sans eyebrow +0.08em · Mono micro-label +0.12em
